Okay, I admit: The hat is a little large, but golf had limited supplies to make it because she couldn't find an action-figure-size Al's Automotive Detroit Tigers cap. I think this is an adequate substitute for the time being.

But as he would look while in his MD500 IH heli, wearing the mike and headphones . . . .

Another gorgeous day in paradise . . . . well, not quite. At least I'm with "paradise" 's tree -- a plumeria. golf and Larry brought back (legally) two "sticks" of a plumeria branch to grow so they could have a little piece of Hawaiian paradise with them at home. Both sticks have grown exceptionally well (you may recall they were the trees to which my hammock was tied). They go dormant in the winter when moved inside, but each spring they're back to grow and bloom. I'm not sure whether the horrible heat in Atlanta this summer helped. But they appear to be pretty darn healthy right now.

for a few beers -- huh-oh, it's rather obvious we stayed there until dark, awaiting TC, who never showed up -- must have been busy with charter flights.
