Sunday, December 9, 2007 -- 76 degrees!

T.C.'s helicopter tolerates being draped with a few Christmas lights (yes, I can almost hear it sighing in resignation).

But then I gather T.C., Rick, and Higgins to wish you all a Mele Kalikimaka!

However, Atlanta weather isn't very "seasonal'!! It's December, for crying out loud! You'd think WE were in Hawaii, in Georgia today. It was a gorgeous, 76-degree day! golf's flowers are blooming. We didn't know that irises (iri??) are fall-blooming flowers. Here's our iris peeping up from under the dead leaves!

With the flash: (wouldn't Higgins be envious?! He has only orchids, right?)

Sunday, December 2 -- Ornaments!

Three Island Hoppers helicopters and four Ferraris! Can you spot them all? Not too difficult to do, really. I can spread them around on the tree, but for the photo, I needed them all together. Have one more helicopter to add . . . .

Saturday, December 1 -- Winter is Coming!

Off to get firewood this morning! golf and Larry make a LOT of fires in the winter. Of course, I had to go along to help -- I give great advice on how to load up the back of the golfmobile.

At the place where golf gets the wood.
At home, in the garage, before unloading the wood (see the license plate??)The back of the golfmobile (I guess, currently the "woodmobile") is full of wonderful, aged wood -- burns really well.

And here's the wood after unloading (okay, some was left after we got the last load. Only about 3/4 of this was added today.).

Whew! All done! Don't you know she appreciated my assistance!
