Things are looking up! Obviously, TC and Rick have arrived to take up residence. They will soon be appearing in more of my adventures, but I wanted to give you a quick look at them before we head off on our various projects.

Tuesday, August 14

I got to help with driving to work today. I know what you're thinking, and you're right: my vision is somewhat limited when I'm on the steering wheel, so I leave the driving to golf and I do the navigation.

golf has "ordered" (that's RMGI-ese for she's making) T.C.'s t-shirts with the Island Hoppers logo. So T.C. should be able to make an appearance soon. Rick is still in his 'Nam camo fatigues and has to wait a while till his white dinner jacket has been "ordered" and received too.
We're all still looking for Higgins. Zeus (or Apollo) is being shipped in shortly. And the Ferrari is temporarily in the shop.
Waiting for everything wouldn't be so bad in Paradise . . . . in record-breaking heat in Atlanta, it's not as pleasant.

golf also let me help on the drive home.
though sometimes it makes me feel more as though I'm at the wheel of a ship.
And then on the way home, we needed to stop for gas, so I assisted with the pumping of it.

Better clothes! Monday, August 13, 20007

golfmobile discovered this weekend that these hundred-degree days here are literally cooking her cherry tomatoes on the vine! They don't taste good that way.

But she also completely remade my outfit. My new shirt has its design properly centered, even to the sleeves and collar. And thank heaven she got rid of those baggy shorts.
In addition, Rick and T.C. arrived this weekend, but we've been so busy catching up, we haven't had time to take pictures. We'll try to get some posted later this week.

Thursday, August 9

I know what you're thinking and you're right: Things have been deadly dull lately! I haven't been anywhere noteworthy, and it's very boring hanging around golfmobile's office. I try entertaining myself, hiding from her; visiting with her bettas, George and Pike; or chatting with some of the "girls" at her office (the one in the red sweater reminds me of Cynthia Farrell [Dana Delaney], my attorney friend in L.A. -- or Dana Scully. Hmmm, interesting "Dana" coincidence . . . . )
At home, golf has been working on the intro video for "magnum, g.i.," but Higgins hasn't returned from his travels and T.C. is off in his helicopter on some charter or other, Rick is unavailable, so until we have more of the gang on site, we can't finish the video.
Think I'll just go rest in the hammock for a while. If things are going to be this quiet, I'd rather be experiencing such boredom in paradise -- Atlanta is miserable with 100-degree heat right now. I miss ocean breezes, the surf-ski, the Ferrari, the ocean, and almost miss "the lads." And I wouldn't object to a few rainy days -- if I were in paradise.
